I think that the next technological development will be Direct Lithium Extraction. DLE will open up many more sources of lithium brine. So far pond people are looking for brine that has a high concentration of Lithium but DLE will work well with lower concentrations such as Kachi. The better say Lilac make the technology the more brine resources can be unlocked. Driving down the price of batteries is key to driving a stake through the heart of the internal combustion engine.
