I never expected $60k price consistently for the LT.
It's just a good indicator of the panicking mode the lithium buyers are in right now.
Considering that AKE plans to sell its lithium for $20k which is 1/3 below BG and 2/3 BG, for a lithium carbonate that is above BG, ~$25k seems a reasonable estimate for me as of now for a half year contract.
In the short to mid term I expect this price to further grow in real terms (in this decade more or less), then if enough mines come on line to supply the lithium demand, hopefully in the 2030s and 2040s, I expect that price will come back in real terms.
For the future, add inflation on top of that, so nominally it's about $30k-$35k that I expect for LKE's lithium average LT selling price, considering 25 years LoM.
But it doesn't mean that in the short to mid term there cannot be significantly higher prices if LKE will manage to sign rise and fall contracts.
