    You are sorely miguided imo if you think the widespread electrification of mobility is DUE to govt intervention.
    The transition to EVs on a mass scale will be primarily due to economics. Laws/restrictions and incentives only accelerate the change.

    Lower range in cold winter, sure, but “unusable” is a stretch afaict.
