You need to buy now if you want to take delivery by the time the Chinese New Year is over. Tesla shutdown is only until January 31th. Some Tesla workshops still are still running. And I assume battery makers might even start earlier, but certainly won't wait until February 7th. As for Covid, I read from miltiple sources that 80 % have been infected already and I tend to believe that it's not just made up. So soon almost everyone will llikely be through it at least once.It is convenient for the government that most people are sick during Lunar New year holidays.
