Lepidolite was the excess in the market that flowed into the spot market as all the quality low impurity chemical, able to transition successfully into cells is tied up on long term contracts.The spot market is tiny but full of lepidolite not fit for cells. still 130,000 tonnes of battery grade chemical that needs to be delivered by 17th Jan LOL… they gfex exchange only saw about 6k tonnes swap hands before jamming out.
