Trading interested me so I pretty much just gave myself a Google and Youtube education. Bought a charting program. Learned how to use indicators and which indicators worked best for me. Started getting familiar with the relationships, patterns and cues between individual shares, sectors and markets. Paper traded for a year. And for the last three or four i've been doing it with real cash.
I'm not really that advanced. I still rely on indicators heavily. Hopefully one day I can get to the ability levels of RockNRollClown - he only needs to see the chart and the volumes levels to know what's about to go down.
