Workers at centre of regional WA COVID cluster fear they’ll take virus home to families: union

By Cameron Myles and Aja StylesA growing COVID-19 outbreak at a lithium plant near the South West town of Bunbury in Western Australia has left workers fearful they may take the virus home to their families, the manufacturing union says.
Australian Manufacturing Workers’ Union WA secretary Seve McCartney said the first cases at Albemarle’s under-construction Kemerton lithium hydroxide processing plant were notified on Sunday, but as of Tuesday night there was no plan to make the worksite COVID-safe.
