I might help speed up native title outcomes if a suitable Australian standard base Agreement template or templates were made available by the regulatory bodies/individuals involved. Businesses need to be able to act quickly and with a degree of confidence in todays global markets if they are to remain or become competitive. Surely needing 3 years or longer to negotiate these native title decisions and agreements can be speeded up with a view to all involved parties benefitting sooner and more so than otherwise? Three years delay in getting project certainty and a start date means three years lost profits and dividends for all.
