That old thinking is pre-conditioned, non-creative and unhelpful to our national economy. It's how our political representatives are inclined to think and is why Australia is where it's at economically right now. LTR management ARE much more creative and determined than most, so I'm positive they will circumvent the labour cost issue even if there is no light bulb action from our government for a while longer. For a start, why does this country still export its raw materials so cheaply & readily to overseas countries who process and sell them back to us at huge margins, without any attempt to rebuild our own manufacturing capabilities through royalties etc? The dig it up and ship it overseas quickly for peanuts days must surely come to an end, especially after recent bullying political treatment by our largest overseas customer. LTR is really going to make a difference to old thinking & patterns imo.
