I agree with you but maybe there is apprehension about Lithium long term. Solid state, aluminium and or graphene batteries are looming on the horizon so maybe people are scared that Lithium will be a short term play. I don't think it is, it will be a staple for batteries for several years yet, the other technologies are not ready for market and won't be for some time
