Ford looking to develop it's own battery cells. This means locking in future supply of top grade lithium hydroxide is vital. I smell a tie up downstream. Currently LG and SK supply Ford with batteries and as we all know Ford have secured an outtake for supply of raw Spod. I think we are a couple of years away from inking a new deal which will be massive or we could be gobbled up in the short term anyway by manu suiters
