    I'm sure people would think differently if they introduced a 1 mil cap on the tax free component of your home. That would probably cause outrage, particularly for people in Sydney and Melbourne. Super is no different, just an easy target to hit.

    My gripe is if you have sacrificed lifestyle for super retirement savings your wholelife, as encouraged by the government, and been fortunate through investment, is it fair for the government to now come and take a lot it away before you even get to retirement. Your super is not your money. The government has made us believe that our whole lives but this is false. Super is there for them to manipulate as they wish.

    I notice TG has a lot iof LTR shares in his super. I wonder what his plan is. Did he have plans to set up his own charity but now will just let the government come and take their share of his wealth and do with it as they will? Choice is being taken away from us ever increasingly, particularly if you've been successful.
