The market is EV’s and batteries… the starting point is to work out a suitable product and price point that suits the market.

The starting point is not at the extreme other end which is the embryonic stage of each of the hundreds of raw materials that make up the finished product… and what, do we then print a total of the costs and arrive at the price of an EV and battery? That’s not consumer driven then is it?

The EV and battery market is dominated by China… who’d have thought they’d have a say in what the market is prepared to pay? How many times is it that they’ve demanded Tesla drop their prices, first time was a couple of years ago.
