One of the major barriers to entry facing electric vehicle take up that I have not seen discussed is on what solutions are available for vehicles that are parked on the street. This is a very big issue for densely populated cities. In Europe for example there is little off street parking, in fact on average only 5.4% ( except Sweden 9.82% and Finland 8.25%). That leaves 94.6% of all cars parked on the street. If there was a solution to charge all vehicles that have on street parking you would have a tsunami of electric vehicle sales.
