Define clean energy. Think we all have been getting brain washed. Nothing clean about lithium and electric cars. Maybe there’s up side if we can some how produce power without coal, gas and diesel or move over to nuclear power but for now all lithium really does is give convenience to power tool / device owners and solutions for remote off grid power which it sounds like there are other solutions for with the likes of vanadium redox batteries. Having said that I do think there is merit for Hybrid cars that don’t rely on mains power . Just for the record lithium is the third most abundant resource on the planet so no surprise it’s turning up everywhere especially in the NT which at some point was covered by the ocean. I’d expect the price of lithium at some point to fall through the floor as supply exceeds demand and better battery tech comes on board which history has it will. This is just my personal opinion so pleas take it as you will. Note: Maybe the likes of Gina and Min Res by up all the lith resources in Aust and drip feed it like the big oil company’s do. Kinda what’s been happening in the background atm. Big Lith Cartels Pehaps?
