Worst case scenario ... EV's will always need coal/gas electricity generation. I don't believe this but let's run with it to humour you.
- Then all gasoline can be eliminated. Refineries can be scaled back and CO2 and other noxious gases wont be released by cars and trucks in our cities and neighbourhoods.
- Electricity production can be converted from coal (dirty) to gas (cleaner) and CO2 capture can be added to each gas plant as we work our way to net zero
We will still be better off than we are today.
And the future is a lot brighter than this worst case scenario.
