Article in the AFR today, 28/12/2023, p23 - they quote Cannacord and our old friends Goldman, at current Lithium prices Ltr costs above costs to produce, at $1252 tonne, this cost expected to drop down to $760 in 2026. Makes the perfect scenario for Gina to buy Lion after Feb 11 at considerable discount to the Alb offer price. I’d imagine any slip of costs coupled with an ongoing subdued lithium price will provide a rich environment of fear, she could snatch the prize and then ride it all the way to the moon. I really hope this doesn’t happen but it is looking likely. Will the boss and his posse hold firm or sell out?
