Re china lepidolite production, there were already 8 producers (totalling 45.6ktpa LCE capacity) shut down during last November where Chinese spot lithium carbonate price was in the range CNY 166k to CNY 113k. 2023 production would be substantially less than Goldman Sachs’ forecast, let alone ridiculous forecasts of china lepidolite production of 252kt LCE in 2024, more likely between 100kt and 120kt LCE if price sustained at current level.
