Great find @dynofish thank you for posting but not just this one but also your great post on 22nd of Jan - post_id=72003200 which was also very much on point. One of the most interesting things to me is the following regarding IGO using 4 data points instead of one for pricing. I note with interest that Wood McKenzie is not one of the 4. However in saying that (despite me being an LTR tragic) I don't think our Board can complain about the low price predictions of Wood McKenzie because we used them for our DFS. A case of you can't have your cake and eat it too. I did note that during Tony O's presentation, he did state that Wood Mackenzie was still the organisation we use "at the moment." I wonder if their negative stance may have just cost them a customer? If it was my call they would already be out the door. I also wonder if LTR had of insisted on a similar suite of opinions rather than allowing Wood McKenzie as the sole source of data would our funding have had the same issues? Perhaps not!
