Holders don't like it when short sellers are right. Short sellers have been spot on shorting lithium stocks over the last 12+ months. Holders are venting their anger at the mob who foresaw the tanking of lithium rather than taking responsibility for their own actions.
Claiming manipulation is nonsense. The price of lithium is where it is because of oversupply. You don't see operations going into care and maintenance if there's undersupply. The price has dropped below the top of the price curve to knock out the oversupply. It happens with every commodity. Lithium is no exception.
