I don't know how you can call Gina an expert, I think her judgment is pretty questionable.
Lets see, buying VUL at $13.50, then having to sell down at $10-12 while still holding some stake in her company, with the stock now at just above $2.
She bought FBM earlier on, losing quite a bit on it
And she paid $3 for LTR, now less than half of what she bought it at
She has too much money but her buying decision is not a good reflection of the value of her purchases.
In the longer (years) run, she could be validated but that does not mean the industry can't suffer for a longer while yet with prices remain suppressed for longer than share holders would have hoped for.
