Trading in lithium futures has taken off in China and New York, too, making it easier to hedge and speculate.
The Charlotte, North Carolina-based company will host a bidding event for 10,000 tonnes of chemical-grade spodumene on March 26 and 100 tonnes of battery-grade carbonate on April 2. Bidders will need to be registered on Metals Hub and qualified by Albemarle in advance.
