Yes, I was trying to be more diplomatic in saying that those who missed the $3 offer, or should I say consciously decided to miss, might not see that again. Any takeover offer would no longer be at that price. And the wait for it could end up the other way when global recession hits.
As I posted the other day, NPV for the project was at $4.2B with an assumed price of close to US$1400/T, if we even assume that to be the long run sustainable price, the upside is just up to $1.75, although higher capex and opex not updated into the DFS projections.
