1/ Feb in China is their traditional Chinese new year, when most things are paused or slow down due to majority people back hometown for long holidays.
2/ So far China consumes most of Li, it produces some, imported most from AU & Africa etc a bit. Anyone who really knows something about China knows that their Li production capacity is in low %, going in down trend due to high production cost, some miners have closed down since, no?
3/ Chinese EV production & sales (BYD) are both in record high, no? How about the EV production and sale in global market, the same story? Shameless shorters don't need an excuse at all.
