No, I am not pessimistic about EV, while its growth will be less than earlier expected and hoped for, it is undeniably going to be the future. But there will be challenges which have not been previously expected. Plus, a global economic downturn and worse, a recession will further stymie EV growth and growth will come at the expense of margin. So these challenges will stay with EV stocks for some time.

But I am more circumspect about lithium, in particular the assumption that we can get lithium and lithium pricing growth that is commensurating with EV growth and provided a number of articles citing developments that pointed why we should not literally just assumed that EV growth and lithium growth are synonymous.
