CATL and bus maker Yutong have teamed up to launch an LFP battery with an impressive lifespan of up to 15 years. What's really exciting is that this battery shows zero degradation for the first 1000 cycles.
Well, it looks like industry leaders are indeed adopting them. This is all thanks to the pre-lithiation agent, which essentially adds extra lithium inventory during those initial cycles, leading to an extended battery life of 1.5 million kilometers (that's 15 years of battery life).
