While EVs continue to grow at a slower than earlier projected pace, lithium-ion battery is in overcapacity (I posted that under EV/Lithium thread) while battery costs/kWh will continue to fall.
More lithium may be used, but with overcapacity, lithium prices unlikely to go much higher, and may even possibly go lower.
