Very roughly equal to the total battery capacity of about 35,000 Model 3, BYD Seal, MG4 or Polestar 2 cars (roughly speaking - yes you can do your own maths to work out precisely how many equivalents it is for each one).
That’s one battery installation equal to about the total number of EVs sold in Australia in 2022 or about 40% the number sold in 2023.
Did someone say that ESS isn’t particularly relevant to lithium demand compared to EVs?
