it's a dream for labour believing Australian manufacturing costs inc salaries can equal Chinese or Korean and then to shop batteries to an OEM for building into vehicles overseas unless they are going to revive Holden and go electric. now there's a great idea go Albo go !
OEMS (according to industry experts) prefer the battery manufacturers to be close by to ensure they are fit for purpose.
Essentially labour wants to spend our kids future taxes on this voter appeasing $ blow out that's flawed before it starts.
Total incompetence imo. good news is this should ensure labours removal from office after this highly embarrassing episode in Australian politics.
let's get on with mine approvals and processing and to recover some of the costs this labour govt will cost the country over decades to come.
