All I am saying is prices have obviously declined from the sky high levels we saw in 2022 and it’s no surprise there was a supply response to those prices. Just as the highs were not permanent neither are these lows. The office of Australia’s Chief Economist reported recently that global lithium demand is expected to double between now and 2029. The International Energy Agency and the UN Trade & Development also projects lithium demand will rise massively between now and 2050. The UNCTAD reckons to achieve global 2030 net-zero emission targets, the lithium mining industry needs 70 new mines.
