hi Munky, yes you are right of course about the AFR, and in fact all press stories at the moment. Who and what can you trust? I follow individual journos with a track record of intelligence and integrity (not easy to find but they do exist), I do not follow their masthead. Having said that I couldn't help notice the sudden share price jump in LTM the day before the story leaked and the earlier reference to them by @anatol, as well as the coincidence of the timing just after the LG deal which meant LTR and its genuine shareholders would not now be interested in dealing with Rio. The LG deal may have explained to Rio why TG kept hanging up on them. I also never could understand why Rio pursued Jadar in Serbia at huge cost and risk but ignored a great deposit in its own backyard in WA like KV, but then again Rio has a habit of making strange decisions like blowing Aboriginal Rock Art to smithereens.
