Yep, my statement still stands as up to speed with all that, as I said; "sodium is heavy, lithium is lighter", so horses (batteries), for courses (applications).
As I see it, the current main benefits of sodium are reduced cost (sodium cheaper), and safety (less prone to self ignite), for energy storage systems (ESS).
It will be a very L O N G time before they even dream about sodium for short hop battery planes - let alone long hop.
