Given that mass adoption of EVs is hampered by the so-called anxiety range, you're invited to develop your implicit theory that carmakers will continue to offer cars with the same range to save on costs (less lithium inside). And please include in your explanation the low cost of lithium nowadays, which has delayed the introduction of sodium-ion battteries in several projects lead by Chineses automakers (e.g., BYD Seagull).
As Samsung has stated, they plan to introduce this new battery in the premium sector. Will they offer a cheaper model with the same range to those who don't care too much about money (say 10-20 % reduction in price), or will they offer longer ranges?
