The recent Rho Motion podcast #192 pointed out that hybrid popularity is almost exclusive to the US market.
However, @gememde 's chart shows how that's going in China today;....
As infrastructure improves the above curve will get more severe in the US too.
Not that many would be around to remember, but the hybrid issue is a hundred years old, so NOT a new thing;....
... and even then didn't last all that long.
