This article mentions Liontown a couple of times. The pact was formalised last week between Aus govt banker and Chairwoman of US Import Export bank.
They indicated a willingness in March to lend $1.28 billion to Aus rare earth projects. It says Liontown were sent a letter of interest that may be formalised as a loan at concessional rates. The pact is designed to counter Chinese dominance of critical minerals, and support funding of projects where Australian banks are reluctant to lend. Scant details of what was offered to Liontown
