That’s not strictly true.
Opportunity cost of holding at a loss - when that money could be put to better use elsewhere.
You could sell, reinvest and use the gains made elsewhere to buy back in when it’s obvious things are turning around.
Lets also not forget the huge tax loss selling that is likely to happen in late June.
