The Chinese, like with everything else, are apparently commoditising spodumene, lepidolite and petalite processing plants for sale to nation with lax approvals requirements such as many nations in Africa etc.

When are countries going to force battery, EV & ESS manufacturers to control or at least declare the source of the raw materials?
