Oh, yes! The CCP will force every EV in China to donate their batteries after two years of use (and 40,000 km), so they can recycle the lithium for new batteries to be installed. That way they won’t need to purchase foreign lithium anymore.
Don’t be stupid! There is no enough volume of wasted batteries to consider it a massive source of lithium. It will take more than 5 years to start accumulating wasted batteries.
