As for down ramping - I think this is the description that you use for anyone who does not totally agree with you. I can't TRUMP that, so I'll have to agree.
I have found a flexible mind and the ability to consider all views is an important part of the Western way of life.
And yes LTR does have problems if the SPOD price doesn't rise. This is simple mathematics.
