I think the clock IS ticking JK, and it’s clear this is an ideal time for JVs and mergers.
But does KV, alongside LTR’s current debt/cash position put LTR in the buyer’s seat?
I think - despite the evil names that she gets called around here - Gina may end up being LTR’s salvation - she’s into lithium and - for better or worse - she’s solidly in LTR ($32m?) at the whopping price of $3 a share.
I surmise she evidentially thinks Tony is good at what he does and may be mates with Goyder, and wants her investment to come good.
-But she probably doesn’t want to hand over more money for nothing (didn’t she do that at Vulcan?) so whatever is coming - if it does involve her - may taste a bit of hard cheese to sone of the skyhook rampers here.
However I dunno.
