We interrupt this program for a public service announcement.

For all those who use the HC App exclusively and are about to purchase a new phone;....





That's the bad news and the good is not much better.

However, let me share my experience with you;...

Hooray! Transferring from old to new was super easy and the HC App was included.

However, the joy was short lived as true to the above announcement, even though it is there on my screen, the HC App does NOT work.

Dry your tears, for there is a workaround and here is what I did;...

I logged onto HC via my phone browser.
Oh no you say, I don't want to have to log into HC after every time I use Safari (name your favourite), for something else.

You do not have to. I use a different browser for my random use and dedicate Safari to HC. HC is there ready and waiting all the time.

There is one slight problem and that is the pop-ups will drive you mad if you do not take the necessary steps to circumvent.

I'd like to be more specific, but that would probably get me modded.

I will say that the solution is in the App store.

PS just thought of another work-a-round and that is to get a cheap $10 per 28day ($130/year), sim card and use the old phone for HC - if willing to pay the extra and carry two phones.
