An Aussie government sales tax on lithium and other exported critical metals would assist government coffers, enable some Australian financial funding relief for Aussie miners (regardless of any Chinese control/influence), and help break this Chinese stranglehold strategy on prices we are suffering from. Rather a Trumpish solution, but these desperate times require desperate measures if Australia wants to stop the raping and pillaging of our national resources and economy.
