SQM must really be laughing now just looking at that Wodgina deal where ALB was happy to pay 3x what sqm paid to kdr in a matter of 4 months. Can you blame kdr mgt, they’ve even almost lost earl grey in a legal stoush for not crossing the t’s and dotting the i’s. It just demonstrates also the risk such deals can be done so low if the price is driven by fickle market like a day in the life of a trader.
We understand Ms Hao was part of the team to put that Wodgina deal together, just an additional assurance LTR won’t be shortchanged if that’s a gauge of performance.
