IMO this is more attractive for the market. It is a step away from trying to build road based spaceships. EV,s for whatever reason were coming out looking like a toaster, or a hair-dryer. Some like the futuristic Star Trek EV look, but something like this is going to set a standard. EV,s can be built to just look like a car still. They are on the right track. I hope it really takes off over there.
Imagine having the choice to get a Toyota Hilux or Ford Ranger, or a Prado or Isuzu, that all look like they are those things, yet you can have one as a Hybrid, or full EV, or Diesel if you still want that. All looking the same. Choice will see it done IMO.
