..that's fine, if you want to believe it to be the case.
..the market already knows that LTR is near production, and this thread constantly reminds it of it.
..the market can only react badly if it does not deliver the production as scheduled.
..the market is always more forward looking than you would imagine.
..but like I said, if you want to pin every woes of the stock down to the shorting activity, then you are not looking at the reason(s) why these instos shorting can validate their actions,
..LTR was trading at $1.52 on the day before ALB's $2.50 first offer (27Mar23), and is now -20% below the price then, a year later the outlook for lithium had changed quite considerably to the downside. In the absence of the ALB's takeover offer, LTR would not have had climbed to $3 on its own, a doubling in price would seem to be a disconnect to PLS's 55% rise from 27Mar23 to its peak price in midAug23.
