Price of EVs would have more to fall before the Indians can afford it.
EV growth could just be limited to metro India over the next 5 years, according to auto market observers.
Not sure if India will want to buy Chinese EVs or want a Chinese EV maker there. They were trying to court Elon but Elon has his eyes instead to preserve his interest in China, and has his attention turning to Robotaxi.
