Another month.... Another 100% increase NEV sales yoy in China.
"SHANGHAI, Apr 9 (SMM) – Sales of new energy passenger vehicles in China increased 100.9% year on year in March, to stand at 111,000 units, while sales of the traditional patrol vehicles in March shrank 15% on the year, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) said on Tuesday April 9."
It's good that EVs are bucking the auto sales trend in China.
With the number of new battery plants going up in the next 3-5 years, and the combination of China's steady growth, VW going all in and household battery storage becoming the norm, today's lithium demand landscape won't even be recognisable soon.
