This has relevance to many analysts recently admitted that their past forecast of excess supply was wrong which didn't factor in mines closure. They re-forecasted the excess demand of lithium by 2025 and the future lithium price is set to soar even higher than its height in 2017. New mines will take 8-10 years to ramp up productions, so the supply shortages will stretch out for many long years. SQM had played excess supply exaggeration game but lately also admitted that they will not be able to ramp up more production. Well LPD will stay in the game to reap the benefits.
