    Purple Rain

    New Age Metals INC.

The Company’s 100% owned Lithium One Project is a historically known pegmatite rich area. The project contains several lepidolite and spodumene bearing (lithium–rich minerals) pegmatites in southeast Manitoba.

The area was discovered in the 1920’s and was the first spodumene production in Canada. Small tonnages of spodumene were hand mined during the late 1920’s from the Silverleaf Pegmatite.

Numerous pegmatite bodies exist on the property with the most substantial pegmatite to date being the Silverleaf Pegmatite.

In 2016 the Company carried out a small ground proofing program to confirm the historic lithium assays of several of the pegmatite bodies as well as the larger pegmatitic granite.

Field surface sampling yielded assays for the Silverleaf Pegmatite up to 4.33% Li2O, 2.08% Rb2O and 0.04% Ta2O5.

The Lithium One Project is located approximately 125 kilometres (78 miles) northeast of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and 8.5 kilometres southeast of the Tanco Mine Site.

The project is situated south of the Winnipeg River. The project is one of five lithium pegmatite projects that the Company has in the region.

It is located in the southern portion of the Cat Lake – Winnipeg River Pegmatite Field as part of the Greer Lake Pegmatite Group. Southeast Manitoba has several active mining camps.

The project is geologically situated in the southern extension of the Bird River Greenstone Belt.

The pegmatites are associated with the Greer Lake and Shatford Lake Pegmatite Group of the Cat Lake – Winnipeg River Pegmatite Field.

The Winnipeg River Pegmatite Field hosts the World-Class Tanco Pegmatite which has been mined since 1969 at the Tanco Mine Site, in various capacities and for various commodities.

This pegmatite field is hosted in the Archean age Bird River Greenstone Belt and into the surrounding granites.

All the pegmatites are of Archean age and are hosted in mafic volcanic to sediments and the surrounding pegmatitic granite.

Many are complex and zoned with numerous phases of tantalum-niobium minerals, lithium-bearing minerals and REE-bearing minerals.

The Silverleaf Pegmatite is one of the most historically worked pegmatites and approximately 500 tonnes of rock removed in the 1920’s for test milling for lithium, germanium, rubidium and gallium.

It is a zoned complex lithium-bearing pegmatite, with a surface exposure of approximately 80 metres x 45 metres and has been traced for over 168 meters with a maximum thickness of 31 metres.

It was the largest Pegmatite reviewed during the 2016 field season.

Samples taken from the Lepidolite-Spodumene Zone yielded assays from 1.30% to 2.43% Li2O, 0.15% to 2.08% Rb2O and 104 ppm to 447 ppm Ta2O5. This zone is approximately 50 metres x 20 metres in size and extends into a historic excavated open pit.

The Company’s Phase One Exploration Program, sampled several of the other known lithium-bearing pegmatites including the Greer Lake Pegmatitic Granite.

The purpose of the exploration program was to obtain modern-day assay analyses of the Pegmatites and to ground proof some of the historic pegmatite locations.

Numerous Pegmatites and Pegmatite swarms were not sampled, due to access difficulties and will be prospected during the next exploration program.

Field Exploration at the Silverleaf Pegmatite

The first focus will be on the Silverleaf Pegmatite, Annie Pegmatite and the pegmatitic granite.

To date, the Company has approximately 6,318 hectares (15,612 acres) of mineral claims with lithium mineral potential in the Cat Lake-Winnipeg River Pegmatite Field of southeast Manitoba.

The company is the largest mineral claim holder in the Pegmatite Field.

As part of Company’s Prospector Generator Model, negotiations are currently ongoing with interested 3rd parties for possible Option/Joint Ventures and other Exploration Initiatives.
