if green hydrogen was present sooner do you think they would have built the chemical plant in Africa? I think one of the issues with DFC finding is that LPd have gone to UAE to build chem plant and that country isn’t eligible for DFC funding. I just don’t see that benefiting the US or Namibia in ways the DFC intends. Had the chem plant been planned for Namibia I think at very least we’d know the answer of DFC finance.. can’t see lithium plant alone being worth it to them.. but maybe setting up operations in the US which someone pointed out earlier makes more sense and in earlier Ann’s from LPD that they are exploring US.. I kind of feel like that also answers the funding for operations there.. the traxys deal came in end of 21 and Bidens calls for more mining on home soil as per that link in 2022.. here we are 1.5years later still awaiting funding outcomes keeping in mind reporting for DFC completed 19-20.. been a long wait. What’s the hold up?
